No lie, probably about five times a week, I bust out my phone while driving and type a location into my “maps” app. Thank God Google has this handy application on my iphone. I know where I want to go, but I have no idea how to get there. Is it the parkway I take or the back road? The app has my answer and gives me the route.
Wouldn’t it be nice if we can have this same solution to other things in life? Oh, I don’t know say maybe like getting in shape, relationships, or family drama?! Well listen, I have a secret for you… I have your directions to getting in shape.
I feel the biggest problem with health, fitness and wellness in 2018 is people lack DIRECTION. We have this social pressure to be like what we see on TV or Instagram. But we can’t pin point exactly what that is. Does that picture of a skinny girl doing an impossible shape in some gorgeous landscape make us want be a better mom, or look good naked or feel strong? (sorry for sarcasm!)
What do you want for yourself? Physically, spiritually, mentally? Who are you and what do you want to be? Not just a goal, but what do you crave? What is it that will makes you content, happy and fully present? What does your best self look like? Why do you want to get in shape? What does that even look like? … This is d i r e c t i o n
I can’t do your taxes, diagnose an injury or sew you a blanket. But my job responsibility is to create healthy physiques with my team AND motivate you!! Whatever pushes you, gives you drive and passion, not only is that motivation – but that right there is that word again… direction!
As part of directing you to your best health, my team and I have created a 6 week program called “FIT into Fall”. We are offering semi private sessions in studio and online, plus a recorded video workout to start the week if you cannot make any of the scheduled times. More importantly, this program is giving you a direction. We will connect to your WHY of working out. We will help you visualize your best self so you can taste it. This direction can last you more than the program, but can be there for years to come to look back on when life gets tough. “FIT into Fall” will include a nutrition program with hands on discussion of making it work for you. For example, “you tell me Lorelle i need Manco and Manco’s Pizza every Sunday” and we will make it happen. Lastly, our 6 week program provides you an accountability and motivation group. As humans, you’re not alone in most of your issues. We get to work together on these this Fall. (Now we aren’t discussing family drama and relationships because i do NOT have the solution to those)
